October 5, 1962 – December 13, 2017


Larry A. Queen was born October 5, 1962 in Brawley, CA. He passed away on December 13, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA after a long illness.  Larry was born in Brawley,  but as a young child lived in Texas, Idaho, and Escondido before finally settling in El Centro, CA.
He graduated from Central High School in 1981 and entered the work force immediately after high school.  Larry worked for Rockwood Chemical Company in Brawley as a delivery man for 10 years and for Highline Cooling in Holtville as a forklift operator for eight years until he retired due to illness.
Larry loved spending time fishing but especially enjoyed his time spent playing with his granddaughter, Penelope.  Larry will be missed by his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents MC & Beatrice Queen, Earl & Lela Cisler, his father Hardis Queen, his uncle Mike Queen, father-in-law Don Casey, Brother-in-law Richard Casey.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Barbara Queen, daughter Holly (Gil Rebollar), granddaughter Penelope Rebollar, Mother Beverly Queen, Brother Kenneth Queen, Mother-in-law Hildegard Casey.  Numerous cousins, nephews & nieces.
